One beautiful noon in Lagos, Oderinde and Oderinlo were having a walk in the rich neighborhood of Victoria Garden City, Lekki.

A young lady was constantly watching them from her balcony. She then made a kissing gesture at them.

Confused, Oderinde looked behind to see if they were the ones the lady was blowing kisses at. To his surprise the lady pointed at him to confirm he was the one she was flirting with.

In an attempt to set the P, Oderinde made moves to go meet the woman but Oderinlo held his hand and persuaded him not to go, that it was a trap.

Oderinde looked at his friend and said to him:
"This beautiful sweet babe dey call me, you say make I no go? Sperm dey your brain? Dem born us together? In fact come dey go house, I go join you later."
Oderinde sped to the gate entrance, into the compound and went up to meet the lady.

Inside her sitting room, she greeted him with a smile then asked him to sit on the sofa and be comfortable because she is going to change. She then headed into the room.

Oderinde quickly removed his clothes and sat wearing only singlet and boxers.

Minutes later the door bell rang. The woman ran back into the sitting room and told him to get up. She then said:
"My husband is back early unexpectedly, please, take the pressing iron and pretend to be ironing. I will tell you I hired you to do the laundry."
She then gave Oderinde a pile of clothes and ran off to open the door.

The husband walked in wearing an army uniform and he appeared to be wearing the rank of a Lieutenant Colonel.

Oderinde swallowed saliva and quickly started pressing the clothes while her husband sat in the sitting room watching Euro 2016.

He ironed the clothes of the husband, woman, children, table cloths, bed sheets, curtains until late evening. The woman then thanked him and gave him bottle water and saw him off to their door.

On getting home, Oderinde met Oderinlo and narrated his ordeal.

Oderinlo after hearing his story, laughed out loud and said:
"Ashawo kobo kobo.. ehn she gave you bottle water to quench your thirst. Your own better. I tell you say make you no go, but konji no let you see road. You see all those clothes that you ironed, I was the one who washed everything yesterday."
