A school teacher identified as Violet Emu who allegedly defiled a 4-year-old pupil of Light Bearers Private school located at Isashi, Lagos, has been arraigned in court yesterday by the Police.
The suspected lesbian who reportedly fingered the student's vagina in class while her classmates were sleeping, was charged with one count of defilement.
It could be recalled that the issue came to light after the student confided in her mother that her 'school aunty' lifted her uniform and inserted her finger in her 'bum-bum' during siesta [click here to read].
The child was taken to a non-governmental organisation, Mirabel Centre, where she was tested and results showed she had been sexually violated and her hymen broke.
Emu, who was arraigned before Magistrate Osunsanmi pleaded not guilty to the charge.
Osunsanmi however ordered that Emu be remanded at the Kirikiri prison until her bail terms were perfected while the case was adjourned till September 8, 2016 for trial.
